We can cater for groups, families, couples or singles but we try to limit ourselves to a maximum of six guests at any time due to the shared bathroom, ensuring that you have an enjoyable, peaceful stay.
All the bedrooms are furnished with high quality mattresses, John Lewis bed linen and fluffy bath and hand towels. All bedrooms feature photography from local photographer Richard Fox
A large tea and coffee station on the spacious landing will cater for your needs with a quick-cup providing hot water at the touch of a button. Free Wi-Fi throughout the farmhouse with a fairly good connection despite the thick Dartmoor granite walls.

All guest bedrooms are upstairs and share a bathroom (bath with shower above) – please bear this in mind. There are a number of steps around the farmhouse due to the house being over 500 years old. Therefore our B&B is unfortunately unsuitable for those who are unable to climb stairs.
As the three guest bedrooms share a large single bathroom we keep a close eye on it – keeping it clean, hygienic and topped up with good quality eco-friendly toiletries, all made in the UK.
Haytor Room
A large family room with a double bed and a bunk bed, views to the South, overlooking the farm and the Dart valley. This is the room also suitable for babies as there is plenty of space for your travel cot and baby equipment.
Rippon Tor Room
A double room with chunky furniture and views to the South, also overlooking the farm.
Blackator Room
Our twin room, which is also used for single occupancy. Views are to the East over the rolling hills and fields, towards Buckland Beacon.
Guest Sitting Room
Enjoy your relaxing evenings reading our local magazines and sociable morning breakfasts in the comfort of our guest sitting room, with its beautiful granite fireplace and log burner which provides heat to the bedrooms above, modern oak dining table and comfy sofas.
Browse through the books and Ordnance Survey maps, take them with you during your stay if you wish. We also have plenty of leaflets about local attractions and events.
